Omaha’s Gallery 72 Features Great Studio Glass

Omaha, Nebraska’s Gallery 72 features 11 glass artists in a show that shows the scope of glass as a sculptural medium that opens this week. Titled “The Greatness of Studio Glass Art” the exhibit runs Friday, October 24 thru Saturday, November 15, 2014. The show includes Washington Glass School artists Allegra Marquart and Michael Janis.

From the gallery: This is a very powerful  show with artists that are internationally, nationally and regionally recognized for the strength of their work.  And it has an impressive breath of styles ranging from hand blown to sculptural to story telling using glass to create images.
