We’re excited to share that Washington Glass School resident artists April Shelford and Patricia de Poel Wilberg have been selected for this year’s exhibition!

Juried by glass curator Susie J. Silbert, the exhibition brings together a dynamic mix of functional and sculptural glass, highlighting the ways artists continue to push the limits of the medium. From bold technical approaches to deeply personal narratives, the show offers a wide-ranging look at what glass can be today.
This year’s Glass International features 49 artworks by 32 artists, representing 13 states, the District of Columbia, and Japan, selected from 168 submissions — a testament to the strength and diversity of glassmaking happening around the globe.
If you’re in the area, don’t miss the chance to see this vibrant collection and cheer on April and Patricia’s work.
